Come As You Are

// OUR GENESIS

A church born in Austin.

In 2024, Shiloh Austin was launched in Austin, TX. While much of our story is yet to be written, Shiloh Austin exists to provide truth, hope, and understanding — nurturing a loving community of people who prioritize real relationships with one another as we all seek to spend eternity with the one true God in the midst of navigating this journey called life.

Pastor Spencer &
Co-Pastor Sarah Scarborough

In 2023, Spencer and Sarah Scarborough were called by God to launch Shiloh Austin. Their desire is to seek God with all their heart and to listen for His voice in everything they do. Their passion is souls and relationships — they want everyone they encounter to know their friend Jesus and what He did for them. To know, with Him by your side, nothing is impossible.

// WHAT WE BELIEVE

One story. One hope.

01 — THE BEGINNING

Created in His image

We believe the Bible to be the God-inspired, impeccable Word of God. We believe God is the Creator of all things, all reality. He created humans in His image and gave them a role and a purpose: to reflect God’s character out in the world, set apart, as His representatives.

02 — THE CHOICE

Humanity chose autonomy

In the beginning, humanity was faced with a choice: partner with God and find freedom in trusting Him, or seize autonomy and define good and evil apart from God. Humanity chose autonomy — and in an instant, sin and death entered the world.

03 — THE PROMISE

God promised rescue

By God’s grace, He promised to rescue humanity, despite their choice — but it didn’t erase the consequences. Now every aspect of life is hard and filled with grief and pain. But the story wasn’t over.

04 — JESUS

Love more powerful than death

God sent His own Son, Jesus, who became what we could never be for ourselves. He came to take the consequences of humanity’s choice into Himself — and His sacrificial love proved more powerful than sin and even death itself.

05 — A NEW CHOICE

Consider Jesus

Now, humanity is faced with a new choice: stick with the old way, or consider Jesus and know you are loved and forgiven by God’s grace. People who choose Jesus can become people who love and forgive others in return.

06 — THE RESTORATION

All wrongs made right

Ultimately, there will be a day when Jesus comes and changes everything. All wrongs will be made right, heaven and earth will be united as one, and those who choose Jesus can live for eternity in the love of God.
